Unika Atma Jaya develops AI educational content based on generative AI for Faculty of Engineering

JAKARTA - Unika Atma Jaya Engineering Faculty signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for collaboration in developing educational content based on Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) with Inovasi Telematika Nusantara, Ember Sdn Bhd, and Aku Teknik (Atma Jaya Faculty of Engineering Alumni Association). The signing of the MOU was held at Campus 3 BSD Unika Atma Jaya, BSD City, Tangerang, Banten on Friday, 21st June 2024.

(In English: "With this technology, people can learn anywhere and anytime.”) He also explains that AI can help make teaching more efficient and still effective. Not only for our teachers and students, but this technology can be useful for the public in studying various topics independently.
AI is an artificial intelligence system that allows a set of computer systems or other machines to think and work like humans. GenAI is artificial intelligence that refers to the use of AI to create new content, such as text, images, music, audio and video.
Benefits of GenAI in AI Education

Gunawan expresses his hopes that this collaboration can also further promote the Unika Atma Jaya Engineering Faculty as one of the leading educational institutions that develops AI-based educational content. Besides that, it will also assimilate AI learning content models for higher education institutions.
Parties Involved
Inovasi Telematika Nusantara is a local company (as a representative of the AI principal) which will help develop AI content and marketing.
Ember (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd, represented by Mr. Ng Shiyu as Managing Director, is the AI principal who develops AI infrastructure and platforms and transforms content into AI.
This collaboration is tasked with helping explore and develop AI content, outreach, education and marketing. This is a form of support from alumni for the development of Unika Atma Jaya and their younger generations.
